• Top AEW Star Says Goldberg Has A ‘Panic Attack’ When He Has To Cut A Promo

During a recent interview with Marc Maron, current AEW World Champion Maxwell Jacob Friedman spoke about fellow jewish pro wrestling superstars, including WCW Legend Bill Goldberg, who’s arguably the most famous jewish wrestler of all time, but is most certainly in the Top 3.

Here’s what MJF said:

“If you’re a Jew, you love MJF. Because, if you think about it, I’m really the first prolific World Champion that just so happens to be Jewish in the history of the business that is good at talking and wrestling.

I love Bill Goldberg to death, but if you put a mic in front of his mouth, he kind of has a bit of a panic attack.”

Goldberg wrestled for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling from 1997 until 2001, including 1 reign as the WCW World Heavyweight Champion, before working for Vince McMahon’s WWE from 2003 to 2004, also including 1 reign as World Heavyweight Champion.

He eventually returned in 2016 and has been used a so called special attraction / part-timer ever since. He managed to capture the Universal Championship on two occasions after his return.
