• Top NXT Star Is Getting Called Up Before The End of 2025

NXT Superstar Tony D’Angelo is reportedly set to make the jump to WWE’s main roster before the end of the year. The update comes via WrestleVotes, which notes that the long-running “Don of NXT” is on track for a promotion to either RAW or SmackDown in the coming months.

D’Angelo’s mob-inspired persona, which has been central to his presentation since his 2021 debut, is expected to remain intact following the move. However, sources indicate the gimmick will likely undergo slight refinements to better align with the broader creative landscape of WWE’s flagship shows.

Since arriving in NXT, D’Angelo has become one of the brand’s most recognizable personalities. Leading “The D’Angelo Family,” he has been involved in high-profile storylines and held the NXT Tag Team Championship twice and the NXT North American Championship once.

While no official date or brand placement has been confirmed, anticipation is growing for D’Angelo’s introduction to a wider audience on Netflix or the USA Network.

• Tomorrow Might Be The End Of An Era For John Cena

John Cena is scheduled to appear on tomorrow’s SmackDown in Chicago. WWE has sold over 15,000 tickets for the event.

According to WrestleVotes, many people in WWE expect this to be Cena’s final SmackDown appearance. This is going to be a full-circle moment for John Cena, as he made his WWE debut on SmackDown in Chicago at the Allstate Arena in 2002, and now his final SmackDown appearance will be in Chicago at the Allstate Arena as well.

Cena is rumored to face Brock Lesnar at Wrestlepalooza on September 20, so expect the 17-time World Champion to address The Beast tomorrow night.

• Rampage Jackson Wants Syko Stu To Take Accountability, Calls His Son Raja “POS”

UFC Legend Quinton “Rampage” Jackson issued the following new statement on Instagram about the Raja Jackson – Syko Stu incident:

“This has gone too far, I’m sick of being quiet and letting all the low IQ people fall for clickbait! Yes my son took things too far, and I’m pi$$ed at him for being a POS and the way he handled it! But if psycho Stu wasn’t drunk and wouldn’t have hit my son over the head with a (real beer can) while he was live streaming on his own stream then Knox wouldn’t have felt like they had to make things right by letting Raja get his ‘get back’ in the ring!

If my son would’ve just went to the police when the beer can incident happened then the whole event could’ve gotten shut down and he could’ve sued! But no my son is not as smart as I’d liked for him to be! Now my family and i are getting racist threats because of all the misinformation being posted so content creators can get paid from viewers!

People actually think my son just snuck in a ring in front of a live audience and picked psycho Stu up without permission to be there! Get smart people! It was staged! But Raja took it too far! He only shook his hand and accepted psycho Stu’s drunken apology because they said he could get in the storyline!

He was told he could “f**k him up” i have witnesses that says this isn’t the 1st time that psycho Stu had done some drunk sh*t back stage to a fan! Now we have the back story that my son attacked an innocent military vet with PTSD like my son knew everything about the man that came up from behind him and hit him then asked him to sell it!

I have other kids to protect, and i don’t take kindly to threats! I’m not scared of prison, or dying for my kids! And calling me names won’t hurt my feelings! My son should face the consequences for going too far, he knows better! That’s why he didn’t tell me anything about the story line. But psycho Stu is lucky i wasn’t there when he hit my son over the head with a beer can the day after he got a concussion from sparring the day before!

I wouldn’t have cared if a bunch of pro wrestlers would’ve jumped me.. I’m a father 1st. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Let’s all learn a lesson, keep your damn hands to yourself. If you get paid to do fake fighting don’t disrespect people that do the sh*t for real! Now i put myself in this sh*t! Dm me now!”

Rampage Jackson later appeared on The Ariel Helwani Show and said the following:

“I got upset with the death threats and I wanted Syko Stu to tell his part: that my son didn’t sneak up on him. I never heard him say that, and now I’m upset with Stu because he didn’t come out and say, ‘Whoa, whoa, what Raja did was f**ked up, but he didn’t sneak in the ring and do this. This sh*t was staged.’ That’s all he had to say to get all these racist a$$ MFers out of my DMs.

[Syko Stu] should’ve said something. Take some accountability. Everybody was wrong, Raja was the most wrong, everyone was wrong, but none of this sh*t would’ve happened if Syko Stu never hit my son on the back of the head with a can they were drinking beer out of and didn’t grab him by the neck asking him to sell it.”
