• Former WWE Wrestler Reveals Why He Dropped His Plan Of Retiring In 2017
During a recent interview with WSVN-TV Entertainment, former WWE wrestler Adam Rose talked about why he dropped his plan of retiring in 2017, No Way Jose’s entrance being very similar to his, and if he may return to WWE.
Below are the highlights:
On why he dropped his plan of retiring in 2017:
“Money. I needed a job, that type of thing. I was all like ‘I’m going to retire, I’m done’ and then when I had no money I realized no, I’m not retiring. I need to wrestle some more.”
On No Way Jose’s entrance being very similar to his:
“It is very similar, I’ll say that. Very similar. But hopefully he does better with it than I did because it’s a great thing and he’s really talented and stuff from what I’ve seen.”
On if he may return to WWE:
“You never know.”
• Top NXT Star To Get Called Up To WWE Main Roster After SummerSlam 2018
Slice Wrestling is reporting that top NXT wrestler Johnny Gargano is being considered to debut on the main roster after SummerSlam 2018 in August.
No final decision has been made as officials will reportedly discuss the list of final call-ups in July.
Johnny Gargano is set up to face Tommaso Ciampa in a Chicago Street Fight at this Saturday night’s NXT TakeOver: Chicago event. If this call-up were to be true, it’s possible to see their feud spread until August. His wife, Candice LeRae, could then probably play a bigger role in their feud in the months to come as it would be the last time they work together on television—at least, until Candice is called up eventually, too. We’ll have to see what happens this Saturday at TakeOver!
