• Top RAW Star Doesn’t Know What He’s Doing At WrestleMania 42
During an interview on The Coach’s Corner, LA Knight claimed that he doesn’t know what he’s doing at WrestleMania 42:
“Don’t worry about the details, but I don’t have any. I know about as much as you know. People find that hard to believe but in all honesty, that’s just wrestling. I’d like to know more. But all I know is that it’s going to be a gigantic week. It’s going to be a gigantic success.
You’re talking about people coming from all corners of the world to Las Vegas for essentially our big bash, our big kind of sendoff party for the year where things come to an end and things kind of start blooming into the new.
I’m just looking forward to that whole environment and what that turns into and that whole week and weekend happens.”
After Royal Rumble 2026, a report came out stating that WWE is discussing Brock Lesnar vs. LA Knight at WrestleMania 42. However, nothing is locked in. Knight, along with Cody Rhodes, eliminated The Beast from the Men’s Royal Rumble match. Lesnar has issued an open challenge to any member of the WWE roster for WrestleMania 42.
At WrestleMania 41 last year, Knight lost the United States Championship to Jacob Fatu.
• Original WrestleMania 42 Plan For Jade Cargill
According to the Wrestling Observer, the original plan for WrestleMania 42 was for Jade Cargill to defend the WWE Women’s Championship against Bianca Belair.
Belair was scheduled to win either the Women’s Royal Rumble match or the Women’s Elimination Chamber match to earn a title shot against her former tag team partner.
However, Belair still hasn’t healed from her finger injury and this forced WWE to cancel those plans. Instead of Belair, Rhea Ripley ended up winning the Women’s Elimination Chamber match to earn a title match against Cargill at the Show of Shows.
Cargill and Ripley will come face-to-face on tonight’s SmackDown.

• Former Champion Is Back In WWE Video Games After 13 Years
Former WWE Divas Champion Kelly Kelly is officially making her return to the virtual ring. After 13 years away from being in video games — her last appearance was in WWE ’13 — she confirmed that she will be joining the roster for WWE 2K26 as part of the “Ringside Pass Season 2” coming this April.
Kelly Kelly shared her excitement on social media, giving credit to the fans for making it happen. When the initial roster was announced earlier this year, she was noticeably missing, leading many (including Kelly herself) to believe she had been snubbed.
However, she noted that after fans spoke up, 2K listened and decided to add her back in. Kelly Kelly last competed in WWE during the 2022 Women’s Royal Rumble match.
• Why Road Dogg Decided To Leave WWE
Despite rumors of a creative shakeup at WWE, “Road Dogg” Brian James was not fired — he actually quit. According to PWInsider, James walked away from his job on the creative team in person.
Sources within the company say that James had been unhappy for a while and chose to hand in his resignation rather than being let go. While some fans thought he was part of a round of cuts, it was actually the other way around: he chose to leave the position himself.
Cory Hays of Bodyslam reported the following: “Road Dogg was upset with his diminishing role in creative in recent months and decided to walk away today. One person I’ve spoken to stated that it seemed like it was almost inevitable that Road Dogg was on the way out.”
Interestingly, WWE just put tickets on sale for a meet-and-greet with him in Las Vegas. While the timing seems strange, it doesn’t necessarily mean he’s staying. Because he has a separate Legends deal with the company, he will likely still show up for those fan events even though he no longer works behind the scenes.
