• Top Star Explored Options Outside Of WWE Before Contract Extension

AJ Styles came to terms with WWE on a one-year contract extension earlier this year. However, he reportedly explored options outside of the company before making that decision.

According to Sports Illustrated, the former WWE Champion put feelers out about potential options outside of the company. The report stated that he was generating major interest on the convention circuit from promoters, and it was mentioned that the interest was mutual, and at least exploratory.

The Phenomenal One’s WWE contract is reportedly set to expire around February 2026, and he recently teased retirement.

• 2x WWE Hall Of Famer Says Becky Lynch “Lost Her Edge” After Having A Child

Becky Lynch got her face busted open by Nia Jax on WWE RAW in 2018, which led to “The Man” gimmick coming into existence. It made her a top star who was extremely beloved by the fans.

2-Time WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash discussed the Women’s Intercontinental Champion’s character development on his latest Kliq This podcast. He said that Lynch isn’t the same as she was years ago, and lost some of her edge after becoming a mother.

“So I made a statement about Becky Lynch and I see people telling me to shut the f**k up. But here’s the thing – when Becky got over, it was because Nia Jax busted her open. There was that visual of this pretty red-haired girl, petite, defiant, and no-selling it. That was the moment that made her. She took that and ran with it, and she got super over.

But in my opinion, she’s not the same as she was back then. Once she had a child, she lost some of that edge, some of that hunger. That happens – it’s life. And the problem with wrestling is if you force something down people’s throats, they’ll spit it back up.”

Nash hasn’t been a fan of The Man’s work lately, as he also criticized her segment with CM Punk on the RAW after Clash In Paris.

• AEW Wrestlers Banged Up After Company Brings Back LED Boards

AEW has made several changes to its production over the last year. One of them is proving to be painful for its stars. The company brought back LED boards after signing a deal with HBO Max.

Fightful Select reports that several wrestlers have gotten banged up from collisions with the new aprons and barricades. Wrestlers had to adjust how they took bumps at Forbidden Door because the LED surfaces are significantly harder than the standard ones.

There was a temporary switch back to the standard surfaces after talents raised concerns, but they understand that the LED boards are needed for a better presentation.

• WWE Wrestler Silently Moved To Alumni Section

Valhalla (Sarah Logan) is on her way outside of WWE. In June, the company informed her that her contract won’t be renewed once it expired.

She posted the following about it on Instagram back then:

“Dear wrestling,

I come to you with tears in my eyes cause our time has come to a sudden end. WWE informed me yesterday that they are letting my contract expire. To be completely honest my ego can’t help but be damaged. You always assume that when you end a lifelong career there is going to be a grand exit. But here I am, using the notes app on my phone typing up a goodbye letter to an entity that will forget I was even there. I truly take no offense to this, my career as it was is getting usurped by my vocation and it’s all on a Divine timeline that I trust deeply.

I’ll definitely miss you but know I’ll be taken care of by my wonderful husband, by the land you provided for me and alongside the children I’ve made along the way. I’m going to take off the weight of being a superstar and let myself soar being just Sarah. She’s been growing on me and it’s time I let her fully cultivate. I love all the people you’ve brought into my life but my social media page won’t be about you anymore. It will share only the parts of me that I wish and none of that will be wrestling. I’m more of a clean break kinda girl and the other calls to me will be taking my full attention. With all my love,

Sarah.”

It seems like her deal is finally up as she was moved to the Alumni section on WWE’s website earlier today.

Valhalla was released by WWE in 2020 and made her return alongside The War Raiders in 2022. Her last match took place on the February 19, 2024 episode of RAW.
