Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day.
• Becky Lynch’s WWE status has been a hot topic following her departure earlier this year, but signs point to a potential return. After losing her Women’s World Championship to Liv Morgan at King & Queen of the Ring and failing to reclaim it in a rematch on RAW, Lynch became a free agent, sparking speculation about her future.
Lynch’s last WWE appearance was on the May 27th edition of RAW, where she lost a steel cage match against Morgan, who successfully defended her title. Since then, Lynch has been exploring free agency but has hinted at a return.
According to PWInsider, WWE and Netflix have suggested that Lynch might rejoin WWE ahead of RAW’s 2025 premiere on Netflix, indicating that a new deal could be in the works.
WrestleVotes noted that WWE has been discussing Lynch in recent talks with major athletic apparel retailers alongside stars like Stone Cold Steve Austin, Cody Rhodes, Roman Reigns, and Bianca Belair.
During an appearance at the Vulture Festival in Los Angeles, Lynch addressed her wrestling future, assuring fans she wouldn’t end her career on such a note:
“If you think I’m gonna go out with Dominik slamming a cage door in my face that’s definitely not gonna happen.”

• Celeste Bonin, fka Kaitlyn in WWE, has hinted at a potential return to the ring under the right circumstances.
Bonin, the winner of NXT Season Three and a former WWE Divas Champion, left WWE in 2014 and has only made brief appearances since, including the 2018 Mae Young Classic and the 2019 RAW Reunion. However, she remains open to a comeback.
In an interview with The A2theK Wrestling Show, Kaitlyn discussed the possibility of a Royal Rumble return. “It depends. I’m always down to do something cool. If it’s cool and fun and makes sense, I’m always down for that,” she shared.
She also revealed that a Royal Rumble appearance nearly happened a few years ago. “I had gone to a Royal Rumble a couple years ago where there was a possibility that I was gonna be in it, and it ended up not unfolding,” Bonin said.
While her life has moved in a different direction, she is still open to opportunities that fit her current journey. “WWE is such a big part of who I am. So I’m always down for stuff that makes sense… It just hasn’t really unfolded that way yet,” she added.
