• On last night’s SmackDown, Naomi told Bianca Belair that there’s still no lead on who attacked Jade Cargill last year.
Jade tweeted the following after this segment aired:
“you sure?”
Speaking of Cargill, she was spotted back at the WWE Performance Center, signaling her imminent return to in-ring action.
According to PWInsider, Cargill was seen working out in the ring this week and was also present at the facility last week. Her return is expected to align with the WrestleMania 41 season build, as it’s standard for wrestlers to train at the Performance Center before reappearing on television.
Cargill has been off TV since November, when her absence was explained through an off-screen attack. While initial reports suggested a legitimate injury, it has since been clarified that she was on vacation and engaged in outside entertainment projects.
Plans for Cargill’s return reportedly include a storyline centered around uncovering her mystery attacker.
The long-term goal appears to be a high-profile match between Belair and Cargill on the grandest stage.
