5. Originally Planned Match For FastLane Expected To Take Place At Payback 2017
As seen on last week’s episode of Raw, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle announced that Seth Rollins will stay on Raw. After this announcement, Samoa Joe attacked Rollins. Rollins & Joe are now expected to collide at Payback 2017.
It should be noted that this match was originally planned for FastLane 2017, but Rollins’ injury resulted in the match being cancelled for the event. Below is what WWE posted about the rivalry between Joe & Rollins:
Will Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe settle their unfinished business?
Moments after Raw General Manager Kurt Angle affirmed that Seth Rollins is on Raw to stay, Samoa Joe ambushed The Kingslayer to finish the job he started on Rollins’ knee several weeks ago. However, Rollins was ready, nailing The Destroyer with two swift kicks that sent Joe into retreat.
Clearly, we haven’t seen the last collision between these heated rivals, and if they cross paths tonight, fists and feet will fly.
