2. Triple H Confirms That A WWE Draft Is Happening This Year
As we noted earlier, it was reported by Fightful Select that there have been plans for a WWE Draft this year.
The date of the Draft isn’t confirmed yet, and it continuously keeps on changing. As of now, the plan is to hold the Draft in October.
WWE is determined to have fans at the Draft, which is why they’ve been delaying it.
In a media call on Wednesday afternoon, WWE EVP Triple H confirmed the report and said that a Draft is scheduled to take place later this year.
He said that the differences in mentality of NXT’s roster and moving wrestlers between brands will be reflected accordingly.
He also confirmed the reports of Randy Orton wanting to work with NXT wrestlers and WWE wanting to hold SummerSlam on a boat.
