• Shinsuke Nakamura’s Match For Tonight’s SmackDown Live

SmackDown General Manager Paige announced on Twitter that Shinsuke Nakamura will face Tye Dillinger on tonight’s episode of SmackDown Live.

WWE is questioning if WWE Champion AJ Styles will make his presence felt during this match by posted the following:

Will AJ Styles figure into the outcome of Shinsuke Nakamura’s match against Tye Dillinger?

“WWE Champion AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura unloaded on each other in a huge brawl last week, capped off with The King of Strong Style clobbering the champion with a steel chair and a Kinshasa. Nakamura followed up the attack by counting to 10, revealing that they’d be facing off in a Last Man Standing Match for the title at WWE Money in the Bank.

Speaking of the number 10, SmackDown General Manager Paige announced on Twitter that Nakamura will clash with the Perfect 10 Tye Dillinger on this week’s SmackDown LIVE following a heated exchange on Twitter between the two Superstars.

Will The Artist’s bitter rivalry with the WWE Champion play into the outcome of this explosive match? More to the point, after this brutal slugfest last week, is another melee between the WWE Money in the Bank opponents inevitable?

Find out on Smackdown LIVE, tonight at 8/7 C on USA Network!”

• Top WWE Star’s Future Uncertain

Former WWE Champion Daniel Bryan still hasn’t signed a new deal and his future in the WWE is uncertain, according to PWStream.

This story was originally reported by DirtySheets.net and as they noted before, the plan for The Miz winning the Men’s Money In The Bank ladder match relies on Bryan re-signing with WWE as Miz winning the Money in the Bank (and eventually the WWE Championship) will only be booked if WWE officials know that they’ll be able to do a big PPV match between Miz & Bryan with the WWE Title on the line (possibly at WrestleMania).

Bryan’s contract expires in September and if he doesn’t re-sign with WWE, then he will lose to The Miz on his way out of the company in a one-on-one match at SummerSlam 2018 (although this scenario is highly unlikely).
