This Saturday night at WWE Survivor Series 2022, AJ Styles will face Finn Balor.
Heading into this match, a crazy statistic to note is that Styles hasn’t won a singles match on a pay-per-view / premium live event in 3 years!
Former WWF/WCW writer Vince Russo had the following to say about it on ‘Writing with Russo’:
“Somebody put up a graphic today. It was like AJ hadn’t won a pay-per-view match in 3 years or something.
They’re obviously going with Judgment Day. But, however, bro, if AJ has not won a singles match that long on a pay-per-view, this is the chance to give him a win because he’s beating Finn in a singles match so Judgment Day really isn’t getting beat.
So if it were me because I did not realize bro, he’s gone that long, you gotta give AJ a win at some point bro.”
