At the WrestleMania Backlash 2022 premium live event, Ronda Rousey made Charlotte Flair say “I Quit” to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship.

The finish came when Charlotte gave Ronda one last warning and wished her Happy Mother’s Day. Ronda then pulled Charlotte’s arm through a Steel Chair and locked in the Armbar to force Flair to scream I Quit.

After the match, Kayla Braxton announced that Flair suffered a “fracture of the radius”, which is basically a forearm injury.

This was a storyline injury to write Charlotte off WWE programming, because Flair was scheduled to take time off from WWE TV.

Charlotte requested time off prior to WrestleMania Backlash, because of her wedding with AEW wrestler Andrade El Idolo.

According to Xero News, The Queen’s return is near:

“Charlotte Flair is ready to return. Sources believe it could be as soon as Extreme Rules, but if not then they’ll hold off until Survivor Series.”
