4. Curtis Axel is not happy with where his WWE career is going
Former Intercontinental Champion Curtis Axel, who was last seen playing the “Axelmania” gimmick, hasn’t been on WWE TV for a while. The last time he was seen on WWE programming was during the Undertaker-Lesnar brawl on the post-Battleground edition of Raw, where he was used among the mid-card roster to separate Taker and Lesnar.
His Axelmania gimmick was scrapped after the Hulk Hogan controversy and he has been off WWE TV. Below is what Axel posted which clearly shows he ain’t happy with what’s going on in his career:
