Top WWE Star’s WrestleMania 34 Plans In Jeopardy?

WrestleMania

As we have noted on multiple occasions before, jailed steroid dealer Richard Rodriguez (of Iron Addicts Gym in Miami & Wellness Fitness Nutrition LLC) is being interviewed by filmmaker Jon Bravo for a documentary.

Rodriguez has claimed that actors like Mark Wahlberg and Josh Duhamel, and top WWE Superstar Roman Reigns were a part of his steroid distribution ring.

Rodriguez recently provided email and phone records of Duhamel and noted that he’ll provide proof regarding Reigns being involved in his steroid distribution ring next.

Jon Bravo went on to note that Reigns’ WWE suspension due to Wellness policy failure back in 2016 was because of the orders he placed with Wellness Fitness Nutrition and that he’s only stating facts, not rumors:

“My platform is not a platform based upon rumors. Everything released or stated is based upon 100% facts that have thoroughly investigated and verified by the appropriate sources. The evidence I have received including the Laptop used by WFN was released in a court proceeding and is 110% genuine.

If there are any questions about the legitimacy of those items please contact my attorney or the attorney of Richard Rodriguez with any additional questions. Lastly I would not risk my career or reputation on anything that was not based upon 100% facts. More details to follow.”

Reigns has already denied these claims and issued the following statement:

“I have never heard of Richard Rodriguez or Wellness Fitness Nutrition. I learned from the mistake I made nearly two years ago and paid the penalty for it. Since then, I’ve passed 11 tests as part of WWE’s independent drug testing program.”

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer was asked about this situation and if Reigns could get suspended from WWE again if evidence is provided. Meltzer said that WWE most likely won’t suspend Reigns even if evidence is provided as they already suspended him back in 2016.

However, if the evidence shows that Reigns continued to place orders for steroids even after his suspension, then it’s possible that WWE twists their Wellness Policy to save Reigns from a suspension, especially at this point where he’s set to headline his 4th straight WrestleMania – where he’ll face Brock Lesnar for the Universal Championship.

WWE twisting their Wellness Policy for their top guys isn’t surprising, as this is the reason why part timers aren’t checked and top guys like John Cena, Brock Lesnar, Triple H have never failed a wellness test. Also, guys who are employeed under WWE Studios aren’t checked either.

So it’s safe to say that Roman Reigns’ WrestleMania 34 plans will stay intact no matter what happens in this situation.
