After retiring from in-ring competition in 2011 due to neck issues, WWE Hall Of Famer Edge returned after 9 years at Royal Rumble 2020 and has been involved in some top programs ever since.

On tonight’s RAW, Edge will have his 1st match in his hometown of Toronto in over a decade, where he will face Damian Priest of The Judgment Day.

During an interview with Bleacher Report, The Rated-R Superstar noted that he’s enjoying his current run and knows the end of his career is near.

Below is what the former WWE Champion said:

“This run, I feel I’ve been able to do some of that. To me, that has been one more layer on this cake that was already tasty anyway.

I am enjoying and soaking in every moment with the complete realization that it’s going to end soon.

I know the end is in sight, and I can see it, and because of that, it makes me enjoy it more.”

Edge will turn 49 on October 30 and has noted in past interviews that he wants to end his career on his terms this time.
