During his 1,316-day reign as the Undisputed WWE Universal Champion, Roman Reigns became a part-time superstar.

Many fans speculated that this happened because of his health issues related to leukemia.

On his podcast, former WWE Superstar Ryback speculated that The Tribal Chief could be working even less dates from now on:

“Well, he was in remission. It’s always in remission, right? It never just goes away. He’s had an outstanding career and the long championship reign.

He doesn’t need to be around for the next 20 years, and he has a family. I think he’s made more than enough money. I think we could be seeing a much more limited schedule at the very least.

Maybe he does the WrestleMania like The Undertaker once a year.”

Since his Undisputed Title loss to Cody Rhodes at WrestleMania 40, Reigns has been on an extended break. Recent reports suggest that the timeline for his return might now be coming into focus.

In Reigns’ absence, The Bloodline faction has seen significant changes. Solo Sikoa has taken the reins, with Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa joining the group. This shift in leadership has not sat well with Paul Heyman, who has grown increasingly frustrated with Sikoa’s actions over the past few weeks.

The Wrestling Observer highlighted that both Paul Heyman and Roman Reigns are being embraced as babyfaces by the fans.

WWE has indicated that Reigns’ return is imminent, with the Head of the Table expected to make his comeback as early as July, just in time for SummerSlam 2024 on August 3rd, where he’s rumored to face Solo Sikoa.
