• Top WWE Star Wants A Rematch Against Brock Lesnar

At Royal Rumble 2022, Brock Lesnar and Bobby Lashley finally squared off, when The Beast defended the WWE Championship against The All Mighty.

Lashley defeated Lesnar to win the WWE Title in this match, but only because Roman Reigns interfered and attacked Lesnar.

During an interview with So Catch, Lashley revealed that he wants to have a rematch against Lesnar, so he could beat him up the way he wants to.

Below is what Bobby (who is now a babyface) said:

“Did I get a chance to beat him up the way that I wanted to? No, but I did pin him, so there’s one good thing and the rest is bad.

Hopefully we get an opportunity to go in there again and actually really slug it out.

There’s gonna be another Brock and Bobby match-up and I’ll really be able to beat him up the way that I want to.”

Lashley is currently feuding with “The Nigerian Giant” Omos on RAW. On the other hand, Lesnar is on a hiatus after his WrestleMania 38 loss to Reigns.

• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (May 23, 1994) – Old School NWA Veteran Passed Away

On this day in 1994, we lost Old School NWA Veteran Ray Candy (aka Kareem Muhammad) at the age of 42 due to a heart attack.

Ray Candy wrestled for several NWA Territories during the 70s and 80s, such as Jim Crockett Promotions, Georgia Championship Wrestling (GCW), All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) and Championship Wrestling from Florida (CWF).

In 1983 & 1984, Ray wrestled as Kareem Muhammad and teamed up with Elijah Akeem as The Zambuie Express.

By 1988, he became known as Commando Ray, one half of yet another superheavyweight Tag Team, The Commandos.

The Commandos had a very similar military based gimmick as Ray’s former Tag Team The Zambuie Express.
