• Top WWE Star Will Return Before The End Of 2025
On this past Friday’s episode of SmackDown, Jacob Fatu was written off television after being attacked by a mystery figure backstage. The Samoan Werewolf was found under a construction rig, bleeding from his mouth.
It was later reported that Fatu is undergoing extensive dental work and will be getting new teeth. The issue is health-related in nature and not cosmetic.
Earlier reports claimed that he would be out of action until 2026, but that no longer seems to be the case.
Dave Meltzer reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that Fatu’s recovery won’t take long. While the former United States Champion will probably miss Survivor Series: WarGames next month, he is expected to return before the end of the year.
Fatu was rumored to team up with Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, CM Punk, LA Knight/Jimmy Uso in this year’s Men’s WarGames match.
• “Kids are going to end up dead trying this stuff at home” – Former WWE/AEW Name Furious At Jon Moxley vs. Darby Allin
Jon Moxley and Darby Allin headlined the AEW WrestleDream pay-per-view in one of the most violent main events in company history. The two men pushed each other far beyond their limits in a brutal “I Quit” match that created an uncomfortable vibe inside the arena.
At one point, Moxley wrapped a chain around his fist and punched Allin in the mouth, leaving him bloodied. He later jammed skewers into Darby’s fingers and even held his head underwater in an aquarium brought into the ring.
Darby fought back with lighter fluid, a destroyer and repeated bat shots before finally making Moxley quit with the Scorpion Death Lock.
Former WWE/AEW Coach Sarah Stock took to X to call out the match’s extreme violence, particularly the aquarium spot where Darby was being drowned by Moxley.
Here’s what she tweeted:
“You know who should stop this? Mothers. With their remote control. This is worse than the plastic bag over the head. Kids are going to end up dead trying this stuff at home. @aew”
