Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Triple H.
• There have been rumors that WWE will start showcasing adult programming once RAW moves to Netflix in 2025.
However, that’s not the case.
At yesterday’s WWE media event at the Netflix headquarters, WWE President Nick Khan said the following:
“We’re not changing the rating of our programming. There’s some online chatter about ‘oh it’s going to be R-rated, or for us old folks, X-rated’, that’s definitely not happening. It’s family friendly, multigenerational, advertiser friendly programming. It’s going to stay that way.”
WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H said:
“I think it’s what you want and expect out of WWE. It’s not pushing anybody away from what they want, it’s a safe place for families, for kids, for everybody to be able to view the programming. That will not change.”

• WWE Chief Creative Officer Triple H announced that Pat McAfee will return as a full-time commentator for Monday Night RAW on Netflix in 2025.
Here’s what The Game said at yesterday’s WWE media event at the Netflix headquarters:
“Letting the cat out of the bag a little bit right now, Pat’s actually about to come back with us here, full-time on Monday Night RAW.”
Known for his charisma and energy, McAfee stepped away earlier this year to focus on hosting ESPN’s College GameDay.
The timing of his return aligns with RAW’s Netflix debut on January 6, 2025, though McAfee may initially juggle his WWE duties with NCAA football commitments, which run through January 20.
Details about how McAfee’s addition will affect the current broadcast team, featuring Joe Tessitore and Wade Barrett, have not yet been revealed.
