Triple H Defeats Jinder Mahal In A PPV Main Event Caliber Match, Says Jinder Earned His Respect & Future Of India Is In Good Hands

At today’s WWE Live Event in New Delhi, India, 14 time World Champion “The King of Kings” Triple H proved that he’s still “The Game” when he defeated the former WWE Champion “The Modern Day Maharaja” Jinder Mahal in a PPV main event caliber match.

After the match was over, Triple H put over Mahal and said the following:

“I’ve been coming here since 1996. It’s an honor to be back here again. But it’s an honor to step in this ring with The Modern Day Maharaja. I can tell you this – Many people may criticize you, many people may hate you for no reason, but know this…you have earned my respect. India is in good hands with The Modern Day Maharaja.”

After that Triple H, Jinder Mahal and The Singh Brothers danced in the ring to Jinder’s theme song and Triple H then nailed a Pedigree on one of the Singh Brothers. Jinder then promised the fans that he’ll be the WWE Champion the next time they visit India.

Below are some notes from the event:

– Indian wrestlers Jeet Rama & Kishan Raftar received almost no reaction during their entrance as they weren’t announced as “India’s own” and had a very random introduction.

– Kishan Raftar paid tribute to Old School WWF Legend Stone Cold Steve Austin by performing a Stunner during his match.

– Seth Rollins paid tribute to Old School WWF & WCW Legend “The Immortal” Hulk Hogan during his match by doing Hogan’s ear taunt when the match began and “Hulking Up” and Hulkster’s comeback followed by a Leg Drop sequence later.

– Braun Strowman Powerslammed Kane through a Table after their match ended in disqualification.

– Triple H once entered the ringside area when his match with Jinder Mahal was going on and he got completely surrounded by the fans.

– Triple H, Roman Reigns & Jinder Mahal received the biggest pops of the night.
