Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Chyna and John Cena.

• Triple H Gives An Update On Chyna’s Solo WWE Hall Of Fame Induction

On the 9-year death anniversary of Chyna, Triple H got asked if the late DX member would get her solo WWE Hall of Fame induction next year.

Here’s what HHH said on the WrestleMania post show:

“I don’t know about next year, but it’s definitely happening. There are a lot people, when you say ‘Hall of Fame,’ there are a lot of people that should be in the Hall of Fame and will be in the Hall of Fame. You just can’t put them all in at once.

As far as Chyna, her contributions to the business alone. I can see it in all these women when they get in there.

We’re at the age, unfortunately, where they all grew up idolizing her. I see it in their work, their gear, in what they think works and doesn’t. It all stems from that.

She is in the Hall of Fame with DX, but she will be in the Hall of Fame by herself when the time is right, for sure.”

• “Heel Turn Was Soft” – Hall Of Famer Is Not Impressed With John Cena Becoming WWE Champion

On his 83 Weeks podcast, WWE Hall of Famer Eric Bischoff had the following to say about John Cena defeating Cody Rhodes to win the Undisputed WWE Championship in the main event of WrestleMania 41 – Night 2:

“I have to believe when both those guys watch this match back, they’re going to go, ‘We missed it. We missed the mark because that match just didn’t create emotion.’

The responsibility is equal among the parties. The chemistry wasn’t there. I don’t think the story was there to begin with. The heel turn was soft. I didn’t say it’s bad, but it was soft. It wasn’t compelling.

There was nothing that felt different than a million other turns we’ve seen before. Yes, for all of you people who say I never criticize WWE, please pay attention.

That story missed the mark from the get-go, and we talked about it here. And it just hasn’t gotten any better. I believe it had a lack of heat, just lack of a good story.”
