Grayson Waller and Austin Theory recently joined forces to form a heel tag team on SmackDown.

They were originally scheduled to have a short run as a tag team, but WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H has changed plans.

Here’s what WrestleVotes reported:

“We’ve heard over the past few weeks of tremendous support for the team of Grayson Waller & Austin Theory.

Source in creative has said it was meant to be a short term pairing but those plans have changed. The expectation is that the brash, young team may benefit from the mutual partnership in the long run.

Expect the duo to play a strong role in programming through WrestleMania.”

At last night’s WWE Live Event, a fan jumped the guard rail and tried to attack Grayson, but was stopped by security and then ejected from the arena.

You can watch it below:

Below are the results from this Live Event:

– Shotzi def. Bayley

– Bobby Lashley & Angelo Dawkins def. The O.C. (Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson)

– Butch def. Karrion Kross

– Santos Escobar def. Dragon Lee

– Kofi Kingston def. Ivar in a Viking Rules Match

– Austin Theory & Grayson Waller def. Cameron Grimes & Odyssey Jones

– IYO SKY (c) def. Charlotte Flair with help from Bayley to retain the WWE Women’s Championship

Bayley and IYO attacked Charlotte after the match, which led to Shotzi making the save.
