• Old School WWF Legend Celebrates His Birthday

Old School World Wrestling Federation Legend Demolition Ax (Real name: Bill Eadie) turns 72 today.

After working the territories for quite a while, he joined the WWF in 1983 as The Masked Superstar, before he became known as Ax, one half of one of the most successful Tag Teams in WWF history: DEMOLITION!

Despite popular misconception, Demolition still holds the record for being the longest title holders of their particular WWF/E World Tag Team Championships for a fact, as the record can not ever be beaten anymore, after those titles were retired in 2010.

The record that those new modern day PG era guys falsely claimed to have broken, actually happened with a different kind of WWE Tag Team Championships, that were only established in 2002, 11 years after Demolition vanished from WWF TV.

Therefore still the longest reigning WWF/E World Tag Team Champions: Demolition !!!!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEMOLITION AX!

• Triple H Reveals Who He Wants To Face From NXT

During a recent appearance on WWE’s After The Bell podcast, Corey Graves asked Triple H who he would like to face from NXT.

Below is what the WWE Hall of Famer said:

“If I were to look at it now, clearly for me from the white meat Shawn Michaels – selling babyface side, [Johnny] Gargano.

[Tommaso] Ciampa is different – he’s more like my character was and a different style.

Velveteen Dream, just the visuals and the image that you could present with him is totally different.

It’s hard to put a singular one. Finn Balor would be another one for me, for sure, and I know I’m just stating the same stuff [Shawn Michaels] did.

Then again, you look at somebody like Keith Lee and the stuff that he can do – a big guy like that – and I go like, ‘Man!’ It would be hard not to have something super enjoyable with him.”
