• Luke Harper Comments On Vince McMahon’s Influence On The Bludgeon Brothers

During a recent interview with CBS Local Sports, SmackDown Live wrestler Luke Harper talked about Vince McMahon’s influence on the Bludgeon Brothers, favorite actor (out of The Rock, John Cena, The Miz, and Batista), and a local talent screaming in a match with him.

Below are the highlights:

On Vince McMahon’s influence on the Bludgeon Brothers:

“Yep. It’s a huge stamp of his. And then it’s just me and Rowan just being a couple of no-nonsense, don’t-care-about-anybody, go-to-the-ring-and-do-what-we-wanna-do kind of business now. And I’m way more comfortable with that. So I’m cool with it.”

On his favorite actor (out of The Rock, John Cena, The Miz, and Batista):

“Clearly big Dave Batista. Just because my son adores the character, and I think the movie’s awesome, and I think big Dave’s awesome as a person. But outside of that, I would say that I’m a close number two.”

On a local talent screaming in a match with him:

“I didn’t hear it. I did the move and we get to the back, and somebody goes ‘Hey, man, how bout that scream?’ I didn’t know what they were talking about, and Rowan turns to me, and he goes ‘Was that you?’ And I go ‘No!’ So, then finally the kid comes back, and I didn’t see him. But they said that he did it, and then I watched it back, and I was like ‘Oh, my God!’ And I must have watched it 30-50 times by now.”

• Triple H Says WWE Has “Plan B” Ready If AJ Styles Can’t Compete At WrestleMania 34

During a recent interview with International Media members, Triple H talked about WWE Champion AJ Styles’ injury and the status for Styles’ match with Shinsuke Nakamura at WrestleMania 34.

Below is what “The Game” said:

“You always have to have a Plan B, and just in case you have a Plan C. AJ is an incredible performer. Replacing AJ Styles would be very difficult. He’s not necessarily a replaceable talent, but we would do our best.

AJ is working diligently on rehabbing his injuries and getting himself in tip-top shape for WrestleMania. We are trying to help him with that process of getting the best care and the best rehab and everything else possible. We’re hoping for the best.

Right now he says he’s feeling a lot better and will be ready to go. Obviously we’ll get him doctors to make sure that he is ready to go and get a medical clearance, if that’s possible. He’s working very hard at it, so we’re hoping for the best.”
