Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, featuring Triple H, Tony Khan & more.
• Tony Khan continues to accuse WWE of tampering with AEW stars who are still under contract, rather than waiting for their deals to expire.
Before the 2022 All Out PPV, Khan addressed this issue in a talent meeting, noting that AEW’s Chief Legal Officer, Megha Parekh, had sent a warning email to WWE’s Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan.
Khan later explained on X that WWE’s actions became personal for him, as they occurred while his mother was seriously ill. He mentioned that some AEW talent informed him about WWE contacting them about returning.
Recently, on The Dan LeBatard Show, Khan stated that he believes this contract tampering hasn’t stopped:
“I don’t think that it has. It’s still happening. I will reserve all rights when it comes to that, but I don’t think that it’s stopped. I’ll leave it at that.”
After this, WWE’s Chief Content Officer Triple H liked a post about this report on Instagram to troll the AEW President:
