• Triple H Wants To Sign 6 Wrestlers To WWE, Including 2 Former TNA World Champions

Vince McMahon returned to WWE this year as The Chairman in order to sell the company and get the best deal possible.

The sale is official, with Endeavor acquiring the company for $9.3 billion.

During the sale process, there was a hiring freeze in WWE, which prevented Triple H from signing the wrestlers that he wanted to.

This is the reason why there haven’t been any new signings in 2023.

According to Fightful Select, Triple H wanted to sign the following wrestlers this year:

– Nick Aldis (former TNA & NWA World Heavyweight Champion)

– Brian Cage (former TNA/IMPACT Wrestling World Champion, AEW contract expired recently)

– Jay White (former NJPW-IWGP World Heavyweight Champion, recently signed with AEW)

– Akam & Rezar, together known as AOP / Authors of Pain (former RAW/NXT Tag Team Champions)

– Tama Tonga (former IWGP & ROH Tag Team Champion, currently signed to NJPW)
