• Triple H’s Favorite NXT Wrestler In-Line For A Title Match
According to Slice Wrestling, former UFC fighter Matt Riddle is Triple H’s favorite wrestler in NXT and he’s in-line for an NXT Championship match at NXT TakeOver: Toronto.
As we noted before, Riddle is also expected to work the 50 man Battle Royal this Friday at WWE Super ShowDown.
Things are looking good for Riddle in WWE in general, as Brad Shepard noted that there are people who support Riddle outside of NXT as well:
“Matt Riddle is getting support at the office. I’m told they dig him. He’s calling out Brock Lesnar on his own it’s not a planned storyline, but he does have a growing following in the office I’m told outside of the NXT bubble.”
