Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving Triple H and Mansoor.
• On this week’s RAW, it was announced that Triple H will make a major announcement on Thursday’s “2024 Preview Show” on Peacock. This show was set to be about the premium live events WWE has planned for this year.
Triple H’s major announcement was that Money In The Bank 2024 will take place at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, Ontario, Canada on July 6th.
PWInsider noted that there were some change in plans, which led to WWE announcing the Money In The Bank news ahead of time, as this announcement was originally made via press release earlier this morning.
Also on this preview show, Becky Lynch and Shinsuke Nakamura announced their entries into the Women’s & Men’s Royal Rumble 2024 matches respectively.
Later, CM Punk was interviewed and he said the following about RAW’s World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins:
“He’s a dude that I don’t think would have gotten the opportunities that he has gotten if it wasn’t for me.”

• Saudi Arabia’s Mansoor was signed by WWE in 2018 and WWE began using him at every Saudi premium live event, where he would pick up victories every time.
However, WWE stopped booking him on Saudi shows after a few years.
During an interview on Café De René, Mansoor revealed why Vince McMahon stopped booking him in his home country:
“When Vince was telling me about the male model stuff, he was like, ‘Listen, I wanna address why you’re not on the Saudi shows anymore’ and I was like, ‘Yes, please. Did I do something wrong?’
And he’s like, ‘No. They just communicated to me that they don’t really need you on the show. They want stars’.
I was like, ‘Oh!’ F**k. Like, damn! I see how it is. I think for them, they just wanted the big names.”
Mansoor was released from WWE in 2023.
