• Triple H’s Reaction To Rhea Ripley Getting A Tattoo Without His Approval
WWE has always been very careful about how its talent are presented on-screen. In the Vince McMahon era, wrestlers could be punished for decisions outside the ring that affected their presentation.
Triple H, however, takes a more relaxed approach, as revealed by Rhea Ripley.
The former Women’s World Champion recently shared a story on WWE Break It Down about getting a tattoo without Triple H’s approval, while she was in NXT and he was in charge of the developmental brand.
“I remember getting my first arm tattoo, it was this one right here, my little demon lady. It was a couple of days before my cage match with Mercedes Martinez in NXT.
I remember rocking up to NXT absolutely terrified because I didn’t get it approved at all. Hunter walked up to me as we were going through the cage match, and he goes ‘is that new?’
I go ‘yeah, I got it a couple days ago.’ He goes ‘oh, it looks awesome, that’s sick,’ and walks away. I was like oh my God, are you kidding me? My boss just said that my tattoo was sick and he didn’t yell at me for it, he didn’t tell me off.
So it was at that point where I knew that I couldn’t really do any wrong, so I just kept getting tattoos, and he just kept telling me that they looked really cool. I kind of just kept getting away with it, I don’t know how.”
Rhea Ripley and IYO SKY are currently feuding with The Kabuki Warriors on RAW.
• Triple H Taking On More Political Duties, WWE Hires Liaison To White House
WWE Chief Content Officer Triple H’s relationship with the White House is growing stronger.
The Wrestling Observer reports that The Game is preparing to expand his role in politics in some form. WWE has hired Cyrus Kowsari as a liaison to the White House, who will also oversee the AI-driven creative process in the company.
Previously, sources stated that Triple H’s political commitments were hurting WWE as creative decisions were being impacted by his reduced availability.
WWE’s relationship with the government may be at its peak right now as Triple H has made two visits to the White House in recent months.
There has also been chatter about U.S. President Donald Trump possibly attending John Cena’s final match in Washington D.C. on Saturday Night’s Main Event on December 13.
