• Triple H’s Reaction To This Week’s WWE Releases

WWE has released the following names this week:

– Road Dogg

– William Regal

– Ace Steel

– Ranjin Singh

– Ryan Katz

– Sarah Cummins

– Scott Armstrong

– Timothy Thatcher

– Danny Burch

– Hideki Suzuki

– Cathy Corino

– Gabe Sapolsky

– Samoa Joe

Most of the above names are people that were hired by Triple H. Word going on is that WWE is dismantling the 2013-2021 vision of NXT, that was built by Triple H.

This is being done because NXT lost to AEW Dynamite in the Wednesday Night War, despite Triple H being allowed to do what he wants.

With NXT 2.0, Vince McMahon is developing and pushing people that he wants at the top on the WWE main roster in the future, like the current NXT Champion Bron Breakker.

PWInsider is reporting that Triple H has lost a great deal of power backstage in WWE, and some people in WWE are angry over what’s going on right now:

“I can tell you firsthand there were people in the company who rarely have empathy for others as they are out for themselves who were greatly shaken by what went down.”

People are sad and frustrated about how WWE isn’t the same company it was a few years ago, with some people joking that this is Nick Khan’s WWE now, not Vince McMahon’s WWE.

According to PWTorch, Triple H was building his own team that he would’ve brought to the WWE main roster if Vince ever decided to put him in charge, but his team has now been released and The Game is bummed out:

“I’ve talked with people who had said Triple H was building his team that he would bring with him to the main roster. And if his day came to run the main roster he wanted his group of people.

At some point, it was thought that it would include William Regal and Gabe Sapolsky and Road Dogg and they’re gone.

NXT just isn’t what it once was. I’ve heard just a little about Triple H’s reaction to all of this and nothing super reportable other than it sounds like he’s bummed out.”

Triple H hasn’t returned to full-time work backstage in WWE since his heart procedure last year.
