WWE Hall of Famer Trish Stratus will face “The Man” Becky Lynch at the Night Of Champions 2023 premium live event in Saudi Arabia on May 27th.
They will make their match official by signing a contract on next week’s episode of Monday Night RAW.
As we have reported before, this is going to be a multi-match feud, so it will continue past Night Of Champions.
According to Xero News, WWE Officials are discussing the idea of putting Trish in the Women’s Money In The Bank 2023 Ladder Match on July 1st.
If they decide against this idea, they still want to use Trish at the Money In The Bank PLE, where she will be used to screw Becky, who will be in the Women’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match, to continue their feud.
Becky recently noted in an interview that she has the following two things left to accomplish in WWE:
“I do want to win the Money In The Bank briefcase before it’s all said and done, and also wrestle Beth Phoenix. I’ve been trying to get her for years. She’s been dodging me.
Every single Money In The Bank match I’ve been in, I’ve always been the second last person. We’re talking four Money In The Bank ladder matches, I’ve been the second last person.
I don’t think anyone can (top Seth Rollins’ Money In The Bank cash-in at WrestleMania 31) and I don’t think there’s a point in trying.
That’s going to go down as the greatest cash-in in history, and I’m quite alright to let him have that one. Maybe I can come fairly close.”
