In the main event of today’s UFC 294 pay-per-view in Abu Dhabi, UAE, Islam Makhachev knocked out UFC Featherweight (145 lbs) Champion Alexander Volkanovski to retain the UFC Lightweight (155 lbs) Championship in their rematch.

In the post-fight interview, Islam was asked who he’d like to face next – Charles Oliveira or BMF Champion Justin Gaethje. Islam said UFC CEO Dana White will decide that.
Volkanovski requested UFC to keep him busy and that he’ll be ready to defend the Featherweight Title against Ilia Topuria in January.
