In the co-main event of tonight’s UFC 304 PPV, Tom Aspinall defeated Curtis Blaydes in just one minute to retain the Interim UFC Heavyweight Championship.

You can watch the finish below:

In the post-fight interview, Aspinall said he wants to fight UFC Heavyweight Champion Jon Jones because he knows he can beat Jones. The fans cheered big time when Aspinall asked them if they want to see him fight Jones.

Daniel Cormier mentioned on commentary that UFC should pivot like WWE did at WrestleMania 40, from The Rock vs. Roman Reigns to Roman Reigns vs. Cody Rhodes. Instead of Jon Jones vs. Stipe Miocic, Dana White should book Jones vs. Aspinall for the Undisputed Heavyweight Championship next.

In the main event, Belal Muhammad defeated Leon Edwards to win the UFC Welterweight Championship.
