• UFC President Dana White Has Some Words For AEW President Tony Khan
During a recent interview on My Mom’s Basement podcast, UFC President Dana White mentioned All Elite Wrestling owner Tony Khan, whom he seems to know personally.
Here’s what White said about Khan:
“I didn’t know (about Dan Lambert in AEW), but I’m very close to the owners [Shad & Tony Khan] of that organization. They are awesome people. [Tony] and his dad are very good people and I wish them all the success in the world. Good for them.”
When TMZ Sports asked Dana whether Nick Diaz would eventually end up staying with the UFC after his UFC 266 fight, he said the following:
“I don’t know. I never know that either. We’ll take it one fight at a time.”
During an interview with The Independent, White had the following to say about Conor McGregor’s UFC future after the leg injury:
“This kid needs to heal up. I don’t know how fast that leg is going to recovery. It’s basically going to be all about when can he start kicking again and, more importantly, when can he start taking kicks again. That will determine when he fights again.”
