Below are a couple of top WWE & AEW news stories of the day, featuring The Undertaker, Dominik Mysterio and Chris Jericho.

• On his Six Feet Under podcast, WWE Hall of Famer The Undertaker praised Dominik Mysterio for his ongoing heel run.

The Deadman said Dirty Dom doesn’t even have to get beat up to draw heat:

“How about Dominik, though? Dude, is he not killing it? No (he doesn’t have to wrestle). That’s the great thing about it. He ain’t getting beat up. He just gotta be Dom, man.

Dom is a heat-seeking magnet. Just the addition of the super mullet and the horrible mustache, oh my gosh.

Then you have Liv (Morgan) hanging all over him, where somewhere it’s gonna have to blow up in his face or both their faces, obviously. But yeah, you got the two people with the most heat in the same angle.”

• During an interview with Daily Star, AEW’s FTW Champion Chris Jericho was asked when he’d retire.

Jericho gave his views on retirement and addressed the recent “please retire” chants at him. Here’s what he said:

“Sting at 64 retired and everybody is different. To me, when the ‘please retire’ chants were going, I was laughing because I have zero intentions of that. I’ve got a 6 pack, I can do a moonsault, and I know exactly what I’m doing in the ring.

I know how to write storylines. I like the company I work for. I like my boss. I like the guys and girls in the company. Why would I want to retire? What’s the point because someone told me to? F**k off. I remember the (Rolling) Stones in ’89, when they did the Steel Wheels Tour, they were calling it the Steel Wheelchair Tour. ‘The Stones are too old. The Stones should retire’. I just saw The Stones two months ago and they were amazing. They didn’t care.

You retire when you know it’s time and you know it’s right. It’s not the right time right now. Until that moment where I feel, ‘This needs to stop,’ I have no intentions (of retiring). There is no time limit. It could be this week. It could be 5 years from now. I don’t know.

I just know that as of this moment, I’m having a great time. I love going to work. I love contributing. There is no reason to stop doing that.”

Jericho will defend the FTW Title against Hook (Taz’s son) this Sunday at All In.
