Undertaker Reveals If He Knew WrestleMania 36 Was Going To Feature His Final Match Beforehand

The Undertaker Defeats AJ Styles At WrestleMania 36

Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, involving The Undertaker and The Bloodline.

• The Undertaker had his final match in the main event of WrestleMania 36 – Night 1 in 2020.

He defeated AJ Styles in a Boneyard Match and this was his record 25th victory at WrestleMania.

However, Undertaker didn’t knew beforehand that this was going to be his final match, as he was contemplating having more matches.

After he was done filming the Boneyard Match, Undertaker realized his days in the ring as a wrestler are over.

Here’s what he said during a Q&A session on his Patreon:

“I wasn’t thinking ahead. The only thing I was thinking was, ‘There may be more gas in the tank for some other opponents,’ but I didn’t have anybody in mind. I was completely focused on AJ and the shape that I thought I was going to have to be in to have the match that I wanted to have with him, which would have been initially in a wrestling ring. So I mean, my whole focus was on that.”

• Tanga Loa (fka Camacho in NXT) returned to WWE at Backlash France and helped The Bloodline (Solo Sikoa and his brother Tama Tonga) in defeating Randy Orton and Kevin Owens in a Street Fight.

WWE has officially changed Tanga Loa’s name to Tonga Loa. This change was made official on last night’s SmackDown:

Tanga Loa Name Changed To Tonga Loa

As we reported before, WWE had filed a trademark for this new name earlier this week.

Speaking of The Bloodline storyline, there’s an update.

In a backstage segment on last night’s SmackDown, Solo Sikoa questioned if Paul Heyman tried to give Jey Uso a signal at Backlash that he needs help.

Solo also questioned if Heyman is trying to take food away from his children by lying about Roman Reigns pulling himself from the Draft, as that resulted in The Bloodline being drafted in Round 3 instead of Round 1.

Sikoa said Heyman hasn’t talked to Roman since Reigns lost “their” championship at WrestleMania 40, but he has. Roman allegedly said Solo is in charge of The Bloodline in his absence. Heyman was shocked to hear this.

Solo said Heyman is his Wiseman now and hugged him, and gave a look to Tama & Tonga which made it look like he lied about talking to Roman.

Fans chanted “We Want Roman” throughout this segment.
