4. Reason Behind Dolph Ziggler Losing The Intercontinental Title on SmackDown Live
As seen on last night’s 900th episode of SmackDown Live, The Miz managed to defeat Dolph Ziggler to win the Intercontinental Championship.
The Miz is now is a 6 time Intercontinental Champion and will now defend the Title against Sami Zayn, this Sunday at Survivor Series 2016.
WWE wants Zayn to capture the Intercontinental Title at this Sunday’s big PPV event, and they didn’t want him to take the Title from a babyface (Ziggler). That was the reason behind The Miz (heel) being booked to capture the Intercontinental Title on the milestone 900th episode of SmackDown Live, just 5 days before Survivor Series 2016.
