• On This Day In Pro Wrestling History (February 17, 2007) – Old School Veteran Passed Away
On this day in 2007, we lost Old School ECW/WCW/WWF Veteran “The Career Killer” Mike Awesome at the age of 42.
Awesome also had quite a few other gimmick names such as “That ’70s Guy” or “The Fat Chick Thriller”.

• Update On Jeff Jarrett Possibly Being Inducted Into The WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018
As we noted before, PWInsider’s Mike Johnson reported that former WWF, WCW & TNA star Jeff Jarrett is scheduled to be inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2018.
Below is what Johnson said:
“There are guys inside of WWE that have come to me and said that they have heard that Jeff Jarrett is being inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame. While I have no idea that this is the case or not but there certainly seems to be some smoke floating around. Whether there is fire to that smoke, I don’t know.”
In an update to this, below is what Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer said about this:
“There have been reports going around about Jeff Jarrett being offered a spot in this year’s WWE Hall of Fame. While not confirmed, there was a list of names under consideration a few weeks ago and he was on that list.”
For those who don’t know, Jarrett is no longer affiliated to Impact Wrestling and recently completed a WWE sponsored rehab.
