• Update On Barry Windham After Suffering A Heart Attack

WWE Hall of Famer Barry Windham (age 62) suffered a heart attack recently and was admitted to the ICU (intensive care unit).

This was Barry’s second heart attack after a cardiac arrest in 2011, where he needed an emergency procedure as well.

His niece Mika Rotunda (daughter of ‘I.R.S.’ Mike Rotunda and sister of Bray Wyatt & Bo Dallas) set up a fundraiser for the legendary 4 Horsemen member.

In an update, Mika revealed that Barry is out of the ICU and is doing fine:

“Thank you to all who have reached out, prayed, contributed and sent well wishes to my Uncle Barry this week. I wanted to give an update!

I’m grateful to say he is stabilized & out of ICU. Talking & able to stand. Thanks again everyone! There absolutely is power in prayer.”

Barry Windham is the son of WWE Hall of Famer Blackjack Mulligan, the brother of Kendall Windham, the brother-in-law of WWF Legend Irwin R. Schyster (Mike Rotunda).

Windham had his greatest accomplishments while wrestling for Jim Crockett Promotions (NWA) and later for Ted Turner’s World Championship Wrestling.

While wrestling for the World Wrestling Federation (1989, 1996-1998), Barry used several different gimmicks, such as The Widowmaker, The Stalker and Blackjack Windham.

In 2012, he was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of The Four Horsemen.
