Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Becky Lynch and WrestleMania 41.

• Becky Lynch’s return to WWE remains a topic of fervent speculation, as fans eagerly await the comeback of “The Man.” Lynch, who stepped away from WWE television in May 2024 to explore opportunities in Hollywood, is still under contract and expected to make her return sometime in 2025.

Her husband, Seth Rollins, provided a brief update on her status during a recent interview with WFAN. When asked about Lynch’s WWE future, Rollins indicated that she is actively preparing for her return to professional wrestling. However, he refrained from providing a specific timeline. “She is gearing up for a return to pro wrestling and will make a return in time,” Rollins stated.

Adding to the intrigue, Fightful Select has reported that “we’ve heard that ideas continue to be pitched for her potential return.” This suggests that WWE creative is actively working on plans for Lynch’s comeback, ensuring a compelling storyline when she does reappear.

Lynch’s recent travels, including a visit to Mexico, indicate that she is balancing her various commitments. While her Hollywood projects continue, the WWE Universe remains hopeful that her return to the squared circle is imminent. The ongoing development of creative plans suggests that when she does return, it will be with a significant impact.

• WrestleMania 41 ticket prices are insanely high and the event hasn’t sold out yet, but WWE isn’t worried.

When asked if WWE officials are disappointed with ticket sales for their biggest event of 2025, Sean Ross Sapp said the following on the Fightful Select Q&A podcast:

“Not that I’ve heard of. They’re not sold out yet, but they will sell out. At worst, they will have an incredibly strong walk up. We’re talking like 6 weeks out.

I think they got like 5,000 tickets to move one night, 7,000 the other night, but when you got tickets the price that they have, then you can’t be disappointed when they move a little bit slower in general.”
