When Bray Wyatt returned to WWE in 2022, his real-life brother Bo Dallas was brought back to the company as well.
Dallas was playing the role of “Uncle Howdy” under the mask. He was taken off TV as well when Wyatt fell sick before WrestleMania 39.
Wrestling Observer reported last year that WWE has no plans to bring Dallas back to TV:
“He’s done. The only reason he was even being used was as a favor to Bray Wyatt. I don’t expect him to be back.”
In an update on Bo’s status, despite not being used on TV, PWInsider reports that WWE is still keeping him employed.
Bo Dallas’ last match took place at a WWE Live Event on November 13, 2019, where he teamed up with Dolph Ziggler & Robert Roode to lose to Shorty G (Chad Gable) & Lucha House Party (Kalisto & Lince Dorado) in a 6-man tag team match.
WWF Legend Mike Rotunda aka IRS (father of Bray & Bo) recently revealed that WWE placed Wyatt on a Legends Contract, typically reserved for former stars, with all proceeds directed towards Wyatt’s four children.
Rotunda acknowledged WWE’s considerable assistance, recognizing their efforts in aiding the family during this difficult time.
Here’s what Mike said on the Wrasslin Talk podcast:
“I have to give WWE credit. They’ve done awesome helping our family out with a lot of different stuff. They put Windham on a Legends Contract and all the proceeds go to… Windham has four children. Luckily, we have them.”
