• Legendary Old School Jobber Celebrates His Birthday

Legendary Old School Jobber Randy Hogan (Real name: Randy Muehl) celebrates his 68th birthday today.

Because of a facial resemblance to Old School WWF Legend Hulk Hogan, he was given the character of “Randy Hogan”, when he first worked for Jim Crockett Promotions in 1988 and did plenty of jobs on weekly NWA TV shows.

Randy left in early 1989, shortly after Ted Turner had bought the company and renamed it World Championship Wrestling.

In 1989, 1990 & 1993, he did televised jobs for the World Wrestling Federation, though without his typical Hulk Hogan mustache and under the name “Scott Colton”.

In 1994, he returned to WCW and again put over several Stars, before retiring from the sport of professional wrestling shortly thereafter.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY RANDY HOGAN!

• Update On Bray Wyatt’s In-Ring Return Under New Gimmick

According to Slice Wrestling, fans will have to wait a little longer for Bray Wyatt’s return to in-ring action on WWE programming under his new gimmick.

WWE officials want to continue doing the Firefly Fun House segments as they feel they’re a huge hit with the fans and is a major tuning in factor for the viewers, so they feel it’ll help with the TV viewership numbers.

As we noted last month, WWE officials are considering giving Wyatt a streak at a particular PPV event (either SummerSlam or Survivor Series), similar to The Undertaker’s streak at WrestleMania.

This doesn’t come as a surprise given the fact that The Undertaker is one of the guys who pitched ideas for Wyatt’s new gimmick, so it’s very much possible that this could be The Phenom’s idea to make Wyatt special.
