• Update On Dragon Lee After Latest Post Leaves Fans Worried

Dragon Lee has not competed since WrestleMania 42 – Night 2, where he came up short in an Intercontinental Championship Ladder match involving Penta, Rusev, Je’Von Evans, and JD McDonagh.

The former World Tag Team Champion sparked concern among fans today after posting the following message on X: “2-3 weeks”

The cryptic post quickly led to speculation online, with some fans fearing Dragon Lee was teasing a potential WWE departure amid the company’s recent wave of roster cuts and cost-cutting measures.

However, according to Cory Hays, that does not appear to be the case. The reporter stated that Dragon Lee was dealing with physical issues following WrestleMania, and the tweet was likely referring to the expected timeframe for his return to action.

After a four-year run with All Elite Wrestling following his first WWE departure, Aleister Black returned to WWE last year. He was then released alongside his wife Zelina Vega during the latest round of roster cuts.

There had been rumors of negative internal feelings towards a potential Black return to AEW due to how his previous exit from the company went. Despite that, former WWE commentator Jonathan Coachman has made a bold claim regarding Black and Vega’s future.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, Coachman stated that the couple are set to join AEW:

“So, I have two incredible connections in the pro wrestling space. One of them contacted me just now. Aleister Black and Zelina Vega are confirmed to be going back to AEW. I don’t think I’ve ever seen a talent go back and forth twice to each.”

Both Black and Vega are under a 90-day non-compete clause with WWE, so an appearance in AEW would not be possible until late July.

The New Day Is Also Expected To Join AEW

Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods of The New Day were among the biggest and most shocking names to part ways with WWE during the recent wave of talent cuts.

Since their departure, the possibility of All Elite Wrestling signing the duo has become one of the hottest topics in wrestling. Several AEW stars have already shown public support for the idea.

According to Fightful Select, several prominent names within All Elite Wrestling are in favor of bringing The New Day into the company. Even though Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods spent their entire major wrestling careers in WWE, the duo are said to have a very strong reputation within the industry, with many in AEW believing Tony Khan’s company is their next destination.

Kofi Kingston is now going by simply Kofi, while Xavier Woods is using his longtime independent name Austin Creed. The pair have already begun taking bookings for public appearances.
