On this day in Pro Wrestling history on May 26, 1996, the World Wrestling Federation aired the first part of ‘WWF In Your House 8: Beware of Dog’ LIVE on PPV from the Florence Civic Center in Florence, South Carolina.
It was the 8th edition of the WWF In Your House pay-per-views, that took place between 1995 and 1999.
The power went out during the event, caused by a severe thunderstorm, thus resulting in only 2 matches airing that night and the other 3 matches aired 2 days later during the rescheduled pay-per-view, which included the 2 original matches from May 26th.

– WWF World Heavyweight Championship: Shawn Michaels (c) wrestled The British Bulldog to a no-contest

• Update On Dustin Rhodes’ Injury At AEW Double Or Nothing, Sasha Banks Reacts To Double Or Nothing
At last night’s AEW Double Or Nothing PPV, Cody Rhodes defeated Dustin Rhodes in a match which saw Dustin bleed profusely.
According to Slice Wrestling, Dustin received 4 stitches to his head to close the wound. AEW’s medical staff recommended more stitches, but Dustin refused to get more.
Dustin noted on Twitter that last night was the greatest night of his life:
