Below are a couple of top WWE news stories of the day, featuring Giulia and Cora Jade.
• Giulia’s recent absence from NXT programming has raised questions among fans, with limited official explanation provided. Sean Ross Sapp sought clarification on her status following her NXT Women’s Championship loss to Stephanie Vaquer.
According to information obtained by Fightful Select, Giulia has been present at the WWE Performance Center, but has not been actively participating in training sessions since her match with Vaquer. “Those who Fightful Select heard back from confirmed that Giulia had been at the WWE Performance Center of late, but had not been participating in classes since the match with Vaquer.”
Speculation within the Performance Center suggests a possible ankle injury. “The rumor at the WWE PC was an ankle injury, though we’ve not confirmed that,” Sapp reported.
While WWE remains optimistic about Giulia’s potential return, concrete updates have yet to surface. “WWE was hopeful that she could return soon, but we’ve not heard any updates regarding that.”
• Cora Jade has reportedly broken up with fellow NXT wrestler Harlem Lewis (aka Vincent Winey). Below are a couple of photos of them from April 2024:
Jade shared a series of photos with the caption, “It wasn’t me, it was you.” While seemingly a generic breakup phrase, fans noticed the timing and other social media clues.
Previously, Jade and Lewis had shared photos and interactions online. However, these pictures have been removed from their respective Instagram accounts. Furthermore, they are no longer following each other on the platform.
In the world of professional wrestling, social media activity is often a strong indicator of relationship changes, leading fans to believe that Jade’s post signifies a split.
Lewis was Cora’s 3rd boyfriend in NXT. Before him, Cora also dated Blake Christian (aka Trey Baxter) and current WWE Intercontinental Champion Bron Breakker.
