Update On How Much Money WWE Is Planning To Save After Firing 23 Wrestlers & Over 100 Office Employees

Since the merger with UFC to form TKO Group Holdings, WWE has released over 100 office employees & 23 wrestlers.

Below is the list of all the released wrestlers:

– Matt Riddle

– Dolph Ziggler

– Shelton Benjamin

– Elias

– Mustafa Ali

– Dana Brooke

– Emma

– Rick Boogs

– Aliyah

– Riddick Moss

– Top Dolla

– Mace

– Mansoor

– Quincy Elliot

– Bryson Montana

– Dabba-Kato (aka Commander Azeez / Babatunde)

– Shanky

– Yuliya Leon

– Ikemen Jiro

– Kevin Ventura-Cortez

– Alexis Gray

– Brooklyn Barlow

– Daniel McArthur

WWE was looking to cut back on $50 million to $100 million in expenses after the merger with UFC.

Here’s what the Wrestling Observer reported about the above stated wrestlers being released:

“The key to the releases were talent making Main Roster money but not being used on the Main Roster and with the idea that they were not going to be used in the future.

It’s time in vs. how much money you are paid vs. return on investment.”
