• Update On If The Undertaker Is Going To Have A Gimmick Match At WrestleMania 36
During this week’s RAW, AJ Styles challenged The Undertaker to a match at WrestleMania 36.
During his promo, Styles said he hopes Undertaker dies in the ring at WrestleMania and that he’ll literally put the nail in the coffin.
This began speculation that we could be seeing The Undertaker vs. AJ Styles in a Casket match at WrestleMania 36.
However, that’s not the case. The match is going to be a traditional singles match.
Below is what Bryan Alvarez of the Wrestling Observer said about this:
“AJ Styles, he promised to cause Undertaker to die in the ring, he also said that he would literally put the nail in his coffin, which of course, led me to ask, ‘well, is it going to be a casket match.’ How do you literally put a nail in a coffin if it’s not a casket match. The answer is, as of this moment, no, it is not a casket match.”
Undertaker and Styles will meet in the ring on next week’s RAW, as they’ll have a WrestleMania 36 contract signing segment.
