Like UFC, WWE has started to induct matches into the Hall of Fame under “Immortal Moment”. Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13 is the first inductee under this category.
Both Austin & Hart will be at this year’s ceremony for the induction. WWE made the announcement on SmackDown in London.
This induction makes Bret Hart the first ever 3-time WWE Hall of Famer. His solo induction took place in 2006. In 2019, he was inducted as a part of The Hart Foundation.
Austin will now be a 2-time WWE Hall of Famer. His solo induction took place in 2009.
Below is the updated WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2025:
– Triple H
– Michelle McCool
– Lex Luger
– Natural Disasters (Earthquake & Typhoon)
– Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Bret Hart from WrestleMania 13 (Immortal Moment)
According to WrestleVotes, the WWE Hall of Fame 2025 ceremony is struggling with ticket sales. In a recent discussion, WrestleVotes revealed that the sales are “not great.”
The reason for the slow sales appears to be the price of the tickets. WrestleVotes mentioned that the tickets are “a little expensive coming out of the jump.” They elaborated, saying, “I’m hearing people are breaking the bank with this WrestleMania… the whole thing, but you couldn’t get inside the theater for less than $300 and that’s a little steep to watch.”
In an update, WrestleVotes noted that the Austin vs. Hart induction was not made to combat low ticket sales:
“Sources confirm WWE’s decision to induct the iconic Stone Cold Steve Austin vs. Bret ‘Hitman’ Hart WrestleMania 13 match into the Hall of Fame was made well before the event’s underwhelming ticket sales. This was always part of the 2025 HOF plan.”
The WWE Hall of Fame 2025 ceremony is set to take place in Las Vegas, Nevada, specifically at the Fontainebleau Las Vegas. The event will be held within the resort’s BleauLive Theater.
This ceremony is scheduled to occur on April 18, the night before WrestleMania 41.
