Below are a couple of top RAW stories of the day, featuring Kairi Sane and Odyssey Jones.

• On last night’s RAW, The Unholy Union (Alba Fyre & Isla Dawn) defeated Damage CTRL (IYO SKY & Kairi Sane) to become the #1 Contenders for the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship.

Kairi Sane sustained an injury after hitting the announce table during a dive to the outside and was busted open.

According to PWInsider, she received stitches backstage from WWE’s medical team following her match.

After the show, Kairi posted a photo of her with blood on her face, with a thumbs up emoji, indicating that she’s fine.

IYO tweeted the following after their loss:

“I’m proud of my tag team partner.

Bleeding was nothing to her.

Kairi Sane is insanely tough!!!!

Damage CTRL will get golds again soon…!!!!”

• Odyssey Jones made his official WWE main roster debut last month on RAW, teaming up with The New Day’s Kofi Kingston and Xavier Woods to battle Karrion Kross’ Final Testament faction.

His debut drew big numbers on social media and Triple H endorsed him.

Fast forward a month later, Jones has been removed from WWE’s roster page on their website. He isn’t listed in the alumni section either. There was no mention of him on last night’s RAW either.

According to the Wrestling Observer, Jones is likely done with WWE:

“I’m relatively certain he’s done, but it has not been confirmed anywhere. I’ve heard a bunch of stories, but nothing that I would say is confirmed, but it looks like he’s no longer with the company.

His angle is done, no mention on the show, no clips of like if he was injured or something. No acknowledgement of him at all. Kofi Kingston was on and there was no acknowledgement of what they’ve been doing.

So, I mean he’s off. He’s gone. As far as the reasons why, I think that will probably come out or whatever it is.”
