• Update On Samoa Joe’s WWE Status

According to the Wrestling Observer, Samoa Joe’s role as a commentator on RAW is not permanent, despite Joe being very good at it.

WWE officials are only going to use him on commentary until his thumb is healed and he’s ready to return to in-ring action:

“When asked about if Joe would be permanent in the role because he has been so strong in it, the reaction was that they consider him too valuable as a talent right now and he’s only there until his hand injury heals.”
